It took 39 days to arrive in California with Door to Door shipping. The box was in perfect shape, not torn or opened in any way. It is heavy, but then you need to realize that this is an entire bed taken apart and put in a box so yes it is going to be heavy. All of the parts were in perfect shape. No scratches, dents etc... I am not a frequent reviewer, but this uber ultimate bed deserves the rave review! I am so hesitant to buy those things online that are difficult to return, but I took a chance on this bed and I am so glad I did. It is gorgeous- such a statement piece. This is a somewhat rare case of an item looking just as good in person as it does in the advertising. It was quick and easy for my husband to assemble. I would highly recommend!
